Valerie Moore


 MOORE, Valerie Jean Carroll, age 66, of Huntland, Tennessee, departed this life on Monday, Nov. 15, 2021, following an extended illness. Mrs. Moore was born in Tullahoma, Tennessee, on Dec. 4, 1954, to the late Elbert Eugene Carroll and Lorene Rolman Carroll. She was a member of the Huntland Emmanuel Church of Christ. She was a Christian and loved her Lord. Moore was employed for 28 years at the former Wilson Sporting Goods in Tullahoma as a finisher. She was then employed for 12 years in the bakery at Walmart.  She and her husband, Tony enjoyed riding their motorcycles together. She loved her family and her cats.  Mrs. Moore will be remembered as a loving and giving person who never complained and had a heart of gold.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her mother and father-in-law, Benjamin and Pauline Moore.  She is survived by her husband, Tony Moore of Huntland; daughters, Chasity McCreary and husband, Jacob of Huntland, and Angela Burns and husband, Terry of Huntland; grandchildren, Vaden Hudson, Daisy Hudson and Taylor Burns; brother, Terry Carroll of Decherd; sisters, Susan McBee and husband, Jimmy of Sewanee, and Rena Ralston and husband, Larry of Winchester; aunt,  Nancy Shealy of Tullahoma; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation was held on Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2021, from 5-8 p.m. in the chapel of Grant Funeral Services in Estill Springs.  Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, Nov. 18, 2021, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Grant Funeral Services with Bro. Larry Sanders officiating.   Interment followed in the Moore Memorial Cemetery in Huntland. Serving as pallbearers were: Chris Morris, Vaden Hudson, Jason Ikard, Ryan Steele, Jacob McCreary and Jonah Ralston.  Serving as honorary pallbearers were Larry Ralston and Jimmy McBee.
