FERGUSON, James “Jim” Kenneth, age 78, of Decherd, Tennessee, formerly of Goodlettsville, Tennessee, departed this life on Friday, Oct. 8, 2021, at Tri-Star Skyline Medical Center in Nashville. Mr. Ferguson was born on April 3, 1943, in Gary, Indiana, to the late James Cope Ferguson and Pauline Gaston Ferguson. Mr. Ferguson was attending the Winchester Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Ferguson was employed for many years as a surveyor for Volunteer Fence Company in Hendersonville, until his retirement. He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Goodlettsville, and the American Legion Post#82. He enjoyed walking his dog, working in his yard and fishing when he was younger. He loved animals and was a loving and caring husband, father and “PaPa”. He will be missed by his many friends and especially his family. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Charlene Ferguson of Decherd, Tennessee; his daughter, Tammie Donoho and husband, Ricky of Whitehouse, Tennessee; step-son, Trent Loman and wife, Susan of Winchester; sister, Carrol Dunn of Hendersonville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Levi, Stephen, Dylan, Willow, Sam and Alexis; six great-grandchildren; one niece; one nephew; and his special pet, Muffin.
