Randall Goodman


 GOODMAN, Randall Brent, age 68, of Winchester, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2022, at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville.  A native of Franklin County, he was born on Sept. 23, 1953, in Winchester to Peggy (Riley) Goodman and the late Joe Cephus Goodman.Randall served his country in the United States Air Force where he served as a military policeman.  After his military service he worked as an extradition agent for Transcore America.  He had also previously been employed as a supervisor at Wilton Corporation and as a fishing guide.  In his younger years he played minor league baseball for the Dodgers.  A talented musician, Randall enjoyed playing his guitar, singing and writing songs and he also enjoyed riding his motorcycle and going to the beach, especially Panama City Beach.  But most of all Randall cherished the time spent with his beloved children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe C. Goodman.  Randall is survived by his loving children, Joey (Crystal) Goodman, Jennifer (Paul) Alley and Jaysa (James) Hill; mother, Peggy Goodman; grandchildren, Jesse (Haley) Goodman, Chasely (Heather) Goodman, Chelsea Goodman, Tayden Goodman (Kara), Riley Jo Goodman, Michael Triolo, Ryan (Rachel) Ocheltree, Avianna Scott, Ethan Alley, Kelsey Alley, Courtney (Chris) Stevens, Haley (Cole) Jenkins and Jamie (Elysa) Taylor-Hill; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Ellis Goodman; nieces and nephews, Troy (Paula) Goodman, Traci Goodman and Tony (Shirley) Goodman; and several cousins and other family members.  Visitation was held on Saturday, Sept. 17, 2022, from 5-8 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home in Winchester.  Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, Sept. 18, 2022, at 2 p.m. in the Moore-Cortner Funeral Home chapel. Moore-Cortner Funeral Home 300 First Ave, NW Winchester, TN 37398, 931-967-2222, www.moorecortner.com.
