The Huntland High School Hornets competed against the teams of Cascade High School and South Pittsburg High School Friday in a scrimmage held at the University of the South.
 
The scrimmage was held under unique rules with the three teams swapping in and out every couple of drives.
 
The Hornets would score a pair of touchdowns over the course of the scrimmage and had three touchdowns scored against them. All three scores against the Hornets came from South Pittsburg.

The Hornets will have another preseason scrimmage Friday at home against Cannon County High School. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.
