The Reapers were the champions of the ladies division for the 2019 edition of the Herald Chronicle Softball Tournament. The Nashville-based team finished the tournament undefeated and beat S2B 25-22 in the championship game to claim the title. The 37th annual Herald Chronicle Softball Tournament continued on Saturday at Winchester City Park with the ladies division taking center stage.

The entirety of the ladies bracket was played Saturday with 10 teams vying for a championship in the division.

The ladies championship was ultimately claimed by the Reapers of Nashville. The Reapers completed an undefeated run through the tournament by beating S2B 25-22 in the championship game.

The D-class, E-class and recreational divisions were also in action throughout the day with every team across the divisions playing at least once.

The championships for each of those three divisions will be decided on Sunday as the final games of each bracket will be staggered throughout the day.

The tournament is scheduled to resume play on Sunday at 8 a.m.
