The boys and girls cross country teams of Franklin County High School competed in the Battle at Buckner meet Saturday at Buckner Park in Dickson.
More than 200 total runners competed in the event between the boys and girls races at the meet.
Aydan Yates had the best time of the day for the Rebels as he placed 11th with a time of 16:40.
The next Rebel to cross the finish line would be Jayden Taylor in 82nd place with a mark of 19:23.
Braden Collins was able to crack the top 100 as he finished 99th with a time of 19:58 for the meet.
The remaining runners for the Rebels and their times and placements for the day were John Barnhill, 104th, 20:36; and Daniel Heath, 118th, 21:06.
The Rebelettes had just two runners in competition for the day with Zulema Martinez running the course in 22:56 to take 49th place.
Addy Hannaway placed 91st for the day with a time of 27:31 to round out the varsity performances for Franklin County.
FCHS also had four runners competing in the junior varsity race which followed the varsity competitions.
Xander Brammer had the top time for the Rebels in that portion of the meet as he placed 61st with a time of 22:21.
The remaining runners for the JV Rebels and their times and placements for the day were Cristian Fravel, 74th, 23:06; Christian Ferrall, 83rd, 23:52; and Sam Saylor, 90th, 25:01.
The Rebels and Rebelettes will next compete on Oct. 27 in their regional meet at the Richard Siegel Soccer Complex in Murfreesboro. The meet is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m.
