The Huntland High School Lady Hornets beat the Grundy County Lady Jackets 92-62 on the road Saturday for their 14th win of the season.
The Lady Hornets put together one of their best offensive performances of the season so far as they pulled away in the second half to secure their 10th straight victory.
Both offenses got off to hot starts in the contest with the Lady Hornets jumping out to an early lead behind four 3-pointers in the first quarter.
They led 23-19 after one quarter.
The Lady Jackets continued to keep the score close throughout the second quarter with the Lady Hornets holding onto a narrow lead at the end of the first half.
They led 41-40 at halftime.
However, the third quarter would be the turning point of the game as the Lady Hornets put up 29 points for the period to push their advantage up to 20 points.
They led 70-50 going into the final period.
The Lady Hornets kept up their strong offensive pace for the rest of the game as they pulled further away in the fourth quarter to wrap up the 30-point victory.
Brooklyn Morris led the Lady Hornets with 21 points for the game, followed by Kami Riley with 16 points and Anna Stevenson with 12.
Aysia Williams scored nine points, Maddux Golden and Ashtyn Danley scored eight points each, Logan McLennan scored six, Jocy May scored five, Bailey Morris scored four and Megan Tipps scored three.
With the win, the Lady Hornets improved to 14-4 on the season.
They will next play Wednesday at home against Fayetteville City High School or Cascade High School in a semifinal game for their district tournament. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
