The Franklin County High School golf teams faced the teams of Tullahoma High School in a nine-hole match on the road Tuesday with the boys settling for a tie and the girls taking a loss.
The Rebels and Wildcats both finished with team scores of 185 which led to a draw in the boys portion of the match.
Nathan Calahan had the lowest overall score of the match as he shot a 38 for Franklin County.
Hayden Curl was next for the Rebels with a score of 40 for the day, and Jack Curtis was close behind with a score of 42.
Davis Hammond rounded out the scoring for the Rebels with a 65 across the nine holes for the match.
Tullahoma had three scores in the 40s with their highest score for the day being a 54. The lowest scorer for Tullahoma was Andrew Cardosi who shot a score of 40 for the day.
On the girls side, the Rebelettes were not able to keep pace with the Lady Wildcats as they lost by 54 strokes.
Maelee Philpot shot the lowest score on the girls side for the Rebelettes as she recorded a score of 64.
Bailey McClain finished the day with a score of 77 to round out the scoring for the Rebelettes. This gave the Rebelettes an overall team score of 141 for the match.
The Lady Wildcats picked up a comfortable win as they had their top golfer come in with a score of 39 and another one come in with a score of 48 for a team total of 87.
The Rebels and Rebelettes will next be in action on Thursday in a nine-hole match against Tullahoma High School at the Bear Trace at Tims Ford. The match is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
