The Franklin County Rebelettes lost to the Coffee County Lady Raiders 73-34 at home Friday for their sixth loss of the season.
The Rebelettes couldn’t keep up with the offensive pace set by the Lady Raiders as they took their sixth straight defeat.
The Rebelettes put up just four points in the first quarter as they quickly faced a double-digit deficit.
They trailed 18-4 after one quarter.
The Rebelettes got their offense going in the second quarter, but the Lady Raiders continued to outscore them by a decent margin.
They trailed 38-17 at halftime.
The Lady Raiders maintained their momentum in the second half as they continued to pull further away from Franklin County.
The Rebelettes trailed 56-26 going into the final period.
The Rebelettes couldn’t make up any ground in the fourth quarter as they took the loss by a final margin of 39 points.
Chyenna Luttrell led the Rebelettes with nine points for the game, followed by Ashtin Holman with six points and Macy Pittenger and Lucy Barnes with five points each.
Heidi Seay scored four points, Leah Smith scored three points, and Katie Walker and Mikah Brannon scored one point each.
With the loss, the Rebelettes moved to 1-6 on the season and 0-2 in district play.
They will next play Saturday at home against Marshall County High School. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m.
