Franklin County's Summer Hill fouls a pitch off in this file photo from earlier in the season. Hill had one of two hits for the Rebelettes Monday in their 11-0 loss against Coffee County Central High School.

The Franklin County Rebelettes lost to the Coffee County Central Lady Raiders 11-0 at home Monday for their 16th loss of the season.

The Rebelettes fell into a massive hole early in the contest and were not able to work out of it against the strong pitching of the Lady Raiders.

The Lady Raiders scored nine runs in the opening frame to create a sizable early deficit for the Rebelettes. The lengthy was capped off by a three-run home run by the Lady Raiders.

The Lady Raiders added two more runs in the third inning to bring the deficit up to double digits.

The Rebelettes were limited to two total hits for the contest and only got one runner into scoring position for the night. The game would end after five innings due to the mercy rule with the Rebelettes losing by 11.

With the loss, the Rebelettes moved to 6-16 on the season and 2-9 in district play.

They will next play Tuesday at home against Moore County High School. First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m.
