The Franklin County Rebelettes lost to the Coffee County Central Lady Raiders 15-0 on the road Tuesday for their 12th loss of the season.
The Rebelettes were held hitless in the contest as they took their fourth straight defeat.
After a scoreless first inning, the Lady Raiders sent 17 batters to the plate and scored 12 runs in the bottom of the second to put the Rebelettes in a deep hole.
The Rebelettes got their lone runner in the top of the third as Jalyn Brewer drew a walk and advanced to second base before getting stranded.
The Lady Raiders added three more runs in the bottom of the third to end the contest early via the mercy rule.
With the loss, the Rebelettes moved to 5-12 on the season and 2-8 in district play.
They will next play Monday at home against Lawrence County High School. First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m.
