Franklin County's Summer Hill fouls a pitch off in this file photo from the 2019 season. Hill had two hits, an RBI and two runs scored for the Rebelettes Thursday in their 11-4 loss at Tullahoma High School.

The Franklin County Rebelettes lost to the Tullahoma Lady Wildcats 11-4 on the road Thursday for their first loss of the season.

The Lady Wildcats built a majority of their lead in the first inning as the Rebelettes were not able to make a comeback in the district contest.

The Rebelettes were the first team on the board as Summer Hill hit an RBI single to score the first run, and Shelby Terry followed that with an RBI double to make it 2-0 in the top of the first inning.

However, the Lady Wildcats scored nine runs in the bottom of the first with the assistance of three home runs for the frame.

The Lady Wildcats added another two runs in the bottom of the second to push the early deficit up to nine.

The Rebelettes continued to fight in the contest as Savanna Crowder scored on a passed ball in the top of the third to make it 11-3. Carissa Montgomery added an RBI single in the frame to make it a seven-run game.

However, the Rebelettes would be held scoreless for the rest of the day as they lost by seven.

With the loss, the Rebelettes moved to 1-1 on the season and 0-1 in district play.

They will next play Tuesday at Columbia Central High School. First pitch is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
