The Franklin County Rebelettes lost to the Webb School Lady Feet 64-36 on the road Tuesday in their first game of the season.
The Rebelettes were outscored in every quarter as the Lady Feet steadily pulled away in the blowout loss.
The first quarter would be relatively close with the Rebelettes remaining a few possessions behind.
They trailed 18-13 after one quarter.
However, the Lady Feet allowed just two points in the second quarter as they pushed the deficit to double digits.
The Rebelettes trailed 28-15 at halftime.
The Rebelettes were able to get their offense going in the third quarter, but they were not able to make up any ground on the scoreboard. Heidi Seay scored nine of Franklin County’s 15 points in the third quarter.
They trailed 47-30 going into the final period.
The fourth quarter would be the most lopsided of the day as the Lady Feet completely pulled away to beat Franklin County by 28 points.
Seay led the Rebelettes with 11 points for the game, followed by Lucy Barnes with six points and Emma Owens and Katie Walker with five points each.
Danica Stovall and Macy Pittenger scored three points each, Madisyn Partin scored two and Paris Majors scored one.
With the loss, the Rebelettes opened their season with a record of 0-1.
They will next play Saturday in a tournament at Lebanon High School. Tip-off for their first game is scheduled for 12:30 p.m.
