Rebels drop road contest to rival Tullahoma

 

Franklin County’s Chase Rhoton connects on a pitch during a game Tuesday at Tullahoma High School. Rhoton recorded three hits and an RBI in the 4-2 loss.

The Franklin County High School Rebels lost to the rival Tullahoma High School Wildcats 4-2 on the road Tuesday for their sixth loss of the season.

 

The Rebels were held off of the scoreboard until the final inning and key mistakes in the field led them to the close loss.

 

With the loss, the Rebels moved to 6-6-1 on the season.

The Rebels will next play Wednesday at home against Tullahoma. First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m.
