The Franklin County Rebels lost to the Lincoln County Falcons 57-39 at home Tuesday for their 11th loss of the season.
The Rebels took a few quarters to get their offense going and it created an early deficit that they were not able to work out of.
The Rebels were limited to just five points in the opening period as they hit just one shot from the field in the quarter.
They trailed 15-5 after one quarter.
The Falcons continued to pull away in the second quarter with the Rebels unable to keep up with them on the scoreboard.
They trailed 28-13 at halftime.
The third quarter followed the same trend with the Falcons adding a few more points to their advantage.
The Rebels trailed 41-22 going into the final period.
The Rebels finally got their offense going in the fourth quarter, but it would be too late to stage any sort of comeback as they lost by 18 points.
Sumo Scaife led the Rebels with 14 points for the game, followed by Kane Reed with 11 points and Aydan Yates and Alex Esquivel with four points each.
Kane Reed scored three points, Nashawn Holman scored two and Mason Mitchell scored one.
With the loss, the Rebels moved to 7-11 on the season and 2-3 in district play.
They will next play Saturday at Marshall County High School. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
