The Franklin County soccer Rebelettes played the Coffee County Central Lady Raiders to a 0-0 draw at home Thursday for their second tie of the season.
The Rebelettes kept up a consistent offensive pressure in the contest, but they were unable to find a score to break the tie.
Franklin County head soccer coach Kent Bean said his players took at least 30 shots for the day, and it just didn’t work out for them in the game.
On the defensive side, the Rebelettes didn’t allow a single shot on goal for the contest in order to ensure that the game remained tied.
With the draw, the Rebelettes moved to 6-2-2 on the season and 4-0-2 in district play.
They will next play Tuesday at home against Central Magnet High School. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
