Huntland High School senior Anna Stevenson was recently named to the Tennessee Sports Writers Association’s Class A girls basketball all-state team for the 2020-21 season.

She was one of just 15 players in Class A to receive the distinction of being named to the all-state team.

Stevenson led the Lady Hornets in scoring for the 2020-21 season with 467 points across 24 games for an average of 19.45 points per game.

Her scoring exploits included two 30-point games and nine 20-point games for the year. Stevenson reached double digits in points in every game this season.

Stevenson was also recognized for her performance within Huntland’s district and region as she was named MVP of both groups for the 2020-21 season.

In her three years at Huntland, Stevenson scored a total of 1,508 points with an average of 17.1 points per game.

Stevenson will be representing Huntland at the college level as she has signed on to continue her athletic career at Georgetown College after graduation.
