The Franklin County boys and girls tennis teams lost to the teams of Tullahoma High School 12-2 on the road Tuesday for their sixth loss of the season.
The Rebels and Rebelettes had one singles win each with the rest of the matchup going toward the hosting players from Tullahoma.
Armando Montes got a win for Franklin County on the boys side by a score of 8-5. The remaining boys singles matches were won by Tullahoma by scores of 8-4, 8-1, 9-7 and 8-3.
In the boys doubles matches, the team of Montes and Jackson Ashby took an 8-6 loss while the team of Cole Norris and Jackson Ashby took an 8-4 defeat.
On the girls side, the lone win for the Rebelettes came from Sisi LaCroix by a score of 8-4. The other girls singles matches were taken by Tullahoma by margins of 8-0, 8-0, 8-6 and 8-6.
The doubles matches on the girls side were also both won by Tullahoma with Ashley Chasteen and LaCroix falling by an 8-2 score while Grace Omohundro and Hunny Patel took an 8-6 loss.
With the loss, the Rebels moved to 2-6 on the season.
They will next play Wednesday at Marshall County High School. The match is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
