The South Middle School Trojans lost to the Tullahoma Wildcats 34-6 on the road Tuesday for their third loss of the season.
The Trojans fell behind by a large margin early in the contest and were not able to mount a comeback in the second half.
The Wildcats scored one touchdown in the first quarter to jump out to an early 8-0 lead.
The lead continued to grow throughout the second quarter as the Trojans allowed three touchdowns in the period.
They trailed 28-0 at halftime.
The Trojans got their lone touchdown in the third quarter as Luke Kelleher broke off a 97-yard touchdown run to put South on the board.
However, the Wildcats would add one more touchdown to their total, and the Trojans would not be able to score again as they lost by 28 points.
With the loss, the Trojans moved to 1-3 on the season.
They will next play Tuesday at Harris Middle School. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
