The Franklin County Rebelettes lost to the Lincoln County High School Lady Falcons in straight sets on the road Thursday for their third loss of the season.
The Rebelettes decisively lost the first two sets of the night before dropping a close third set to finish off the match.
Franklin County head volleyball coach Alveda Gaines said that her team played with an overall lack of energy and focus throughout the match.
The first two sets resulted in almost identical scores as the Lady Falcons claimed victories in both by scores of 25-8 and 25-7.
The Rebelettes were able to get going in the third set to make the score close, but the Lady Falcons still took the set by a margin of 25-21.
Ashtin Holman recorded four kills and five blocks for the contest with Jolie Bise tying her with four kills. Gracie Woodcock notched one kill and one block for the Rebelettes.
With the loss, the Rebelettes moved to 0-3 on the season and 0-1 in district play.
They will next play Monday at home against Fayetteville City High School. The match is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
