The Franklin County Rebelettes beat the St. Andrew’s-Sewanee School Lady Mountain Lions in four sets at home Tuesday for their fifth win of the season.

The Rebelettes bounced back from losing the first set to claim the next three in a row as they were able to grab a home victory.

The Lady Mountain Lions came out playing strong and were able to take the first set easily by a score of 25-15.

However, the Rebelettes completely turned the tables in the next set, winning by a dominant score of 25-11 to tie the match at 1-1.

The third set would turn out to be the closest of the night as the Rebelettes were able to secure a narrow 25-22 win to take an overall 2-1 lead.

The Rebelettes clinched the win with a convincing victory in the fourth set by a margin of 25-14 to finish off the Lady Mountain Lions.

Ashtin Holman recorded four blocks and six kills for the Rebelettes. Jolie Bise added in four aces and seven kills.

Heid Seay was able to get nine assists in the match to help set up the Franklin County attack while Emily Hooton had three aces and three assists.

With the win, the Rebelettes improved to 5-15 on the season.

They will next play Thursday at Shelbyville Central High School. The match is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m.
