Relief sought for accident victim’s family

To help the family of Vincent Dean Miller, a recent scooter-accident victim who passed away on Oct. 4 as a result of his injuries, a donation account has been established at FirstBank to pay medical and funeral expenses.

Miller, 45, was injured on Sept. 16 when he swerved while driving his scooter on Third Avenue Southwest in Winchester to avoid hitting a dog, according to his mother, Mary Harding.

Harding said her son was thrown from the scooter and was seriously injured. He remained in critical condition at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville until the time of his death. He leaves behind two children, Kaylee Miller and Kinsley Miller.

Donations toward Miller’s medical expenses can be made by stopping in and contributing at any FirstBank location or drive-thru.
