TigerSharks top Penguins, Shelbyville to open summer campaign

The Sewanee TigerSharks competed in a meet Saturday against the Shelbyville Sharks at the Fowler Center on the campus of the University of the South.
The TigerSharks recorded 93 total top-three finishes for the day, including 38 first-place finishes across the meet’s 67 events.
In the team standings, the TigerSharks secured an overall victory by a score of 314-262 over Shelbyville for the meet.

TigerSharks versus Penguins
The TigerSharks and the Winchester Penguins opened their respective summer swimming seasons against each other on Thursday at the Winchester Swimplex.
The TigerSharks swept all three aspects of the team standings in the matchup between county squads as they finished first in the girls rankings and the boys standings by scores of 144-83 and 157-84, respectively, to pave the way to an overall team win by a margin of 332-180.
The TigerSharks also held an edge for the day in terms of first-place finishes as they recorded 39 top placements for the day compared to 26 for the Penguins.
