Chamber Business Expo scheduled for Thursday
The Franklin County Chamber of Commerce’s 29th annual Business Expo and Marketplace is just around the corner.
The event will be held Thursday at Monterey Station in Cowan from 4:30-7:30 p.m.
The event aims to provide opportunity for small-business owners and entrepreneurs to reach and attain high goals that strengthen the community from within, creating a safe place to raise children.
More than 90 vendors will be featured at the event with many great door prizes.
Chamber Executive Director Kayla Doney said a focus has been made this year to provide more offerings for children, including a Kidz Zone with a bounce house, playset, face-painting and other activities.
The Expo will feature special deals with food trucks set up and an opportunity to reach out to many local businesses.
The event is open to the public with tickets costing $5. Online purchases include a credit card fee, and tickets can be purchased through the Chamber’s website or at the door.
Youths ages 12 and younger will be admitted for free.
