The Rebelettes scored most of their runs in the first two innings and held off the Lady Champions for the rest of the day to end a four-game losing streak.
The first run of the day for Franklin County came in the bottom of the first as Madi Taylor hit a sacrifice fly to score Emma Owens from third base.
The Rebelettes expanded their advantage with five runs in the bottom of the second as Paislie Edge got the scoring started with an RBI bunt single. Caroline Powers ran home on a passed ball a few batters later, and Edge scored as Carissa Montgomery was thrown out at first following a dropped third strike.
Taylor rounded out the scoring for the frame with a two-run double to make it a 6-0 game early.
The Lady Champions got their first run of the day with a leadoff home run in the top of the fourth, and they pushed another run across later in the frame to put the score at 6-2.
The Lady Champions loaded the bases with nobody out in the top of the fifth, but Franklin County pitcher Miley DeSmet was able to navigate out of the jam while only allowing one run to make it a 6-3 game.
The Rebelettes had their own bases-loaded situation in the bottom of the sixth as Owens got hit by a pitch and Carissa Montgomery and Taylor both drew walks.
Jocilyn DeSmet then drew another walk with two outs to bring Owens in to score, and Destin Milner followed with a two-run single to grow the lead to 9-3 late.
The Lady Champions scored two more runs in the top of the seventh to make up some ground, but the Rebelettes got the last few outs they needed to secure the win by four.
Miley DeSmet pitched a complete game for the Rebelettes with 12 hits and five runs allowed in the victory.
With the win, the Rebelettes improved to 3-16 on the season.
