The Southern Tennessee Ladies’ Society welcomed the month of March with the wearing of green and St. Patrick’s Day decorations during their meeting held on March 1.

Franklin County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Sgt. Kason Bolin was the guest speaker, accompanied by his K-9 Roku.

Deputy Bolin informed the ladies about the duties of the police department in Franklin County and especially the interactions of his K-9 and his abilities to sniff out drugs and subdue criminals when needed. He then answered questions from the audience before taking them outside to meet Roku.

The next STLS meeting will be held on April 5 at the Franklin County Country Club featuring a spring fashion show presented by The Tigress of Fayetteville. Social time is 9:30 a.m. followed by the meeting at 10 a.m.
