Calling all artists for community shows
The Franklin County Arts Guild isĀ calling for artists of all ages and levels of expertise to participate in its community arts shows that are open to the public as a part of the guild’s effort to fosterĀ visual arts in Franklin County.
Anyone who draws, paints or does other creative activities is welcome to exhibit their original art contributions for inclusion in the upcoming community art shows at the Artisan Depot and Gift Shop, located at 204 Cumberland St. in Cowan. Gallery hours are noon to 5 p.m. Thursday through Sunday.
All work must be submitted ready for hanging or other display. Each artist is free to interpret the theme of the show as they wish, incorporating their unique creativity and inspiration.
All meet-the-artist receptions will be held on the third Friday of each month at 5 p.m. unless otherwise announced.
Artists may bring their art for the show āLanguages of Loveā today through Sunday. The show will run from Feb. 2 through April 2.
