SHERRILL, Billy

Hulen, age 72 of Decherd, passed away peacefully Tuesday evening, March 31, 2026, at Saint Thomas West Hospital surrounded by his family. He was a loving Daddy and PAPA, truck driver and a “Jack of All Trades.” Preceding him in death were his parents, Nancy and Hulen Sherrill. Survivors include his daughter, Heather (Marty) Doino of Monteagle; Randall Stephens of Decherd; grandchildren, Annabella and Adrianna Doino and Wyatt and Brantly Stephens; several very close friends and family; and many other family and friends. Upon his request, there will be no viewing or funeral services. Growing up, Heather went for many big truck rides. So Randall and Heather will take PAPA on his final “Big Truck Ride” in one of his prized big trucks from Moore-Cortner Funeral Home to Gum Creek Cemetery.
