CHARLES NORTHCUTT

 NORTHCUTT, Charles “Steve,” age 73, of Pelham, passed away in the comfort of his home on Friday, Dec. 30, 2022. He was born on Jan. 19, 1949, in Pelham, to the late Charles and Helen Northcutt. Steve retired from United Technologies, formerly Carrier, after 37 years of service. He loved spending time with his family and friends. One of his favorite pastimes was sitting on the porch of Northcutt’s Family Market talking politics with the “old timers.” He was an avid deer and turkey hunter. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Sherion J. Northcutt; sons, Eric (Cindy) Northcutt and Chris (Patricia) Northcutt; five grandchildren, Chase Northcutt, Robert Northcutt, Ethan Northcutt, Summer Northcutt and Karissa (Greg) Knost; one great-granddaughter, Raylynn Knost; sisters, Joyce Walker and Connie (Billy) Meeks; and brothers, Jimmy Northcutt and Bobby Northcutt. Visitation was held on Monday, Jan. 2, 2023, from 5-8 p.m. at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home.
