St. Agnes’ Sunday

All are invited to a special time of worship at St. Agnes’ Episcopal Church, 105 E. England St., in Cowan on Jan. 22 for a celebration of St. Agnes’ Sunday, an annual feast to remember the life and faithful witness of Agnes, one of Christianity’s earliest and youngest martyrs.  There will be a 10 a.m. lesson in the parish hall and an 11 a.m. service followed by a church-wide brunch. 

Unitarian Universalist

The Unitarian Universalist Church of Tullahoma, 3536 New Manchester Hwy., Tullahoma, welcomes speaker Tom Bentley on Sunday speaking on “The Joy of Poetry.” Refreshments and a discussion period follow. Visit www.tullahomauu.org.

Tullahoma Sangha

Tullahoma Sangha, a Zen Buddhist meditation and study group, meets Wednesdays at 6 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Tullahoma, 3536 New Manchester Hwy., Tullahoma.  The service will consist of zazen (meditation), a short lesson and discussion. Winter ladies’ coffee

Everyone is welcome to join in for a winter ladies’ coffee event featuring guest speaker Dr. Cathy Kirkland, PhD and author of “Hope in All Things,” on Jan. 28 at 10:30 a.m. at Vision Church, 112 First Ave. SE, Winchester.
