Black History Program

Mt. Sinai M.B. Church and the Townsend Cultural Center will hold its annual Black History Program Saturday from 5-7 p.m. at the Townsend Cultural Center, 910 S. Shepherd St., Winchester. The theme is “Legacy—What does it Mean to You?”  Everyone is welcome.

Feb. 26

Unitarian Universalist

The Unitarian Universalist Church of Tullahoma, 3536 New Manchester Hwy., Tullahoma, welcomes speakers Stan and Kim Bumgarner on Sunday. Their talk is titled, “The Importance of Letting Go.” Refreshments and a discussion period follow. Visit www.tullahomauu.org.

Tullahoma Sangha

Tullahoma Sangha, a Zen Buddhist meditation and study group, meets each Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Unitarian Universalist Church of Tullahoma, 3536 New Manchester Hwy., Tullahoma. The service will consist of zazen (meditation), a short lesson and discussion. Newcomers are welcome to call ahead for a short orientation at 5:45 p.m. For information, call 931-588-8935.

Singing

Everyone is invited to a singing on March 5 at 10:30 a.m. featuring The Modesitt Family at Huntland Missionary Baptist Church, 306 Alabama St., Huntland. Lunch will follow the singing. Pastor Bruce Shockley welcomes everyone.
