Mother’s Day flower fundraiser
Hospice of the Highland Rim Foundation’s annual Mother’s Day flower drive is underway with a variety of beautiful arrangements for $20. Fabulous Fifties Show
The 36th annual Fabulous Fifties Show will be held tonight and Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 1:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. at 909 South Main Ave., Fayetteville. Democratic Party reorganization convention
The Franklin County Democratic Party will hold a reorganization convention to elect new leaders on Saturday in the large meeting room of the Franklin County Annex, 839 Dinah Shore Blvd. in Winchester. All Democrats who are residents of and are registered voters of Franklin County are asked to attend to discuss the party’s agenda and events for 2023-2024. Food Truck Frenzy
Everyone is invited to Tims Ford State Park, 570 Tims Ford Dr., Winchester, on March 18 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to participate in judging food vendors to help decide which food trucks you most want to see at park events this year. The University of Tennessee Space Institute will hold a Women’s History Month celebration on March 29 at 10 a.m. in the UTSI auditorium, 411 B.H. Goethert Parkway, Tullahoma. Chandra Alston, vice president of human resources at the UT Health Science Center, will be the guest speaker. A reception will follow. This is a free event and is open to the public.

Chili supper/silent auction
A chili-supper benefit will be held for police officer Dustin Pate on April 1 at 5 p.m. at the Capitol Hill Community Center, 5601 AEDC Road, Estill Springs. Cost is $10 for chili, dessert and a drink. A silent auction will also be held. Proceeds will assist Pate’s family with medical expenses associated with a kidney transplant. Franklin County preschool registration
Franklin County preschool applications will be accepted on April 4 from 1-5 p.m. at the school that parents wish their child to attend in the 2023-24 school year. The child must be 4 years old by Aug. 15 to apply.
