LL concession stands burglarized in WInchester, Estill Springs

Law enforcement authorities are searching for suspects in connection with Little League concession-stand burglaries in Estill Springs and Winchester where a combined $3,773.96 in cash and property was taken.

Estill Springs police reports list the total loss from its Little League concession stand at $2,528.96, including $540 in cash and an eight-piece security-camera set valued at $1,388.99.

The Winchester Little League’s losses totaled $1,245, including $445 in cash, a cash register valued at $500 and Bluetooth speaker equipment totaling $300.

The Winchester Little League burglary occurred on April 11 while the Estill Springs incident happened on April 26.

Winchester police reports said that a door to the concession stand had its padlock removed to gain access to take the cash and other items.

Estill Springs police reports said that a door knob on its concession stand had been broken off to gain entry.

When Estill Springs police investigated the premises, they noticed the cameras had been taken down, the wires attaching them had been cut and a monitor screen and DVR recorder had been taken.
