This so misleading and disgusting. You jump to conclusions when hearing a one side story from a roofer, harassing this family who is grieving about losing their family home and more they’ve been dealing with health wise… so sad to see neighbours saying “they’ve been burning garbage all the time” which is not true… I can speak on this cause I pretty much live there and I was staying there when this happened. I, myself was  out on the back deck that morning around 12 pm we were just sitting out for a bit taking in such a nice day and planned on going to the lake for a swim.  We were not burning anything. We seen people roofing in behind on a house. At  3:10 me and their oldest daughter went to McDonald’s and to pick up my dog that my friend was watching down the road. When we came back at 3:30 we realized as driving towards tattingstone and noticed a lot of smoke coming from the house on the corner of tattingstone  and westwood, we drove past the house when we realized it was all smoked out on our street juneberry off tattingstone. We drove down to find that there was a out of control wildfire. Me and my friend who lives on juneberry had just dropped off her sister and her boyfriend and they’re friend off to the house and within 10 minutes we came back to find our neighbour hood in distress as juneberry goes up in flames.

They’re was no fires that occurred in their back yard no one was burning anything and the fire pit (unused) was on the wooden back deck on stone as well as up off the ground. when we had fires in the past we always pour water over it before leaving it. 

So if you all wanna believe a story and rumours the roofers have put out there please read my insight  and take in consideration what possibly could’ve been the start of this fire. The roofer that had noticed the fire had walked all the way down to their house to the backyard to make a “TikTok” never even went to the house to try to inform  the family that the trees are on fire in their backyard. If the youngest daughters friend didn’t come to the kitchen they would’ve never knew until it was worse cause no one came to their door first or last. Their friend started recording after yelling “there’s a fire in the back yard” in the video he took from the kitchen window you can see the roofer down there recording from their backyard.. in that video it looks to be in the woods back farther back between the properties. In the roofers “TikTok” he says something about they just finished roofing the house when they noticed. So they just finished the roof. Did any of the roofers smoke cigarettes? Potentially if a smoke was thrown off the roof? Stop bashing this family let the authorities do their investigation and we’ll all see what happens from there. If this was you in this situation how would you feel if your children and ex husbands family were getting harassed at work and blamed for this fire after losing everything and not having anything but what was on there backs when evacuating this disaster.

I am not blaming anyone for the start of this fire nor am I gonna point fingers. Nor should anyone else. I believe this started in more than one place at once not just in the trees behind her house. On my way back to the house we seen a fire in the front yard of the first house on the right, off West-Wood turning on tattingstone. Couple fires sparked up all around upper westwood. Not just starting in one place. We assume it was a underground root fire spreading underground causing the smothering smoke rising from the grass in spots as trees go up in to flames. But like I said this is all speculation.
