South Cumberland Summer Meal Program starts up

The 2023 South Cumberland Summer Meal Program is offering free weekly grab-n-go bulk meals for all children ages 2-18 and adults with documented disabilities now through July 28 at meal-distribution sites across the South Cumberland Plateau and surrounding communities.

Bulk meals include whole-grains, milk, proteins, vegetables, and fruit for five days per child. Proof of income is not required, and children do not have to be present with parents, guardians, or caregivers who pick up meals.

Biweekly menus will be posted on the South Cumberland Summer Meal Program’s Facebook page. All meal pickup sites will be closed on July 3-4.
