Rhoton receives Bachelor of Arts

Reagan Rhoton of Sewanee recently graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in biology from the College of Charleston.

Rhoton was among more than 1,400 bachelor’s degree and master’s degree candidates who participated in the iconic annual event in the college’s historic Cistern Yard.

The College of Charleston is a public liberal arts and sciences university located in the heart of historic Charleston, South Carolina.

Slayton awarded degree from UA

Ashley Slayton of Winchester recently graduated from the University of Alabama.

Slayton received a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering. UA awarded more than 5,885 degrees during its spring commencement ceremonies.

The University of Alabama, part of The University of Alabama System, is the state’s flagship university.

Sizemore and Emery graduate from UT Martin

Two Franklin County residents were among students who received degrees from the University of Tennessee at Martin during spring commencement ceremonies. 

Receiving their undergraduate degrees during commencement ceremonies held on May 6 were Drake A. Sizemore of Decherd and Cale Edward Emery of Winchester.
