Class on Genesis

Tullahoma Sangha

Tullahoma Sangha, a Zen Buddhist meditation and study group, meets each Wednesday at 6 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Tullahoma, 3536 New Manchester Hwy., Tullahoma. Back-to-school bash

Cowan First Baptist Church, 316 W. Cumberland St., Cowan, will hold a back-to-school bash on Aug. 5 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Enjoy events and activities. Bring school supplies to donate if possible.

Aug. 13

150^th Anniversary

First United Church, 4099 Owl Hollow Road, Belvidere, will hold its 150^th homecoming celebration on Aug. 13 at 10:30 a.m. with The Rev. Kim Wood, minister for the Southeast Conference (UCC) delivering the message. Several of the churches’ previous ministers will participate in the service which will include Holy Communion. A potluck dinner and an afternoon of music and memories will follow.

Interdenominational Bible study

All women are invited to join in for Bible Study Fellowship International to study the Gospel of John on Sept. 12 at 9:30 a.m. at Winchester First United Methodist Church, 100 South Jefferson St., Winchester.
