The Winchester Dog Park officially opened September 29, 2018, almost 5 years ago. Since that time dogs and their owners have enjoyed the park. The dog park is not a Winchester city facility. The city allowed a group of ladies with a vision to use a spot of ground at the Winchester city park and with the help of some willing and able men the dog park became a reality. It was initially funded by a grant from the PetSafe Corporation. The dog park committee built the park and has funded the bags and a few minor repairs along with the help of donations from some wonderful people. The savings are running low and the park needs a new water fountain for the dogs. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated. All money donated to the dog park goes back into the dog park. We also have a memorial/honorary board where you can remember a favorite pet or human with a bone, email winchestertndogpark@gmail.com for more information.
