Full Moon
Healing Project
Anyone who has experienced any type of abuse such as domestic violence, sexual assault, sex trafficking or who is struggling with mental health issues or substance abuse may attend the Full Moon Healing Project group meetings held each Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Campora Family Resource Center, 900 S. The 30th annual Multi-County Cancer Support Network Walk-A-Thon is Friday from 6-10:30 a.m. at the old Franklin County High School football field on Dinah Shore Boulevard in Winchester. Pet wellness clinic
Animal Harbor will provide a pet wellness clinic with free vaccines, pet food by need, reduced-fee spay/neuter (not performed on site) and reduced-fee rabies shots and other services for community pets on the second Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. to noon at Animal Harbor, 56 Nor-Nan Road. September’s clinic will be held on Saturday. Proof of residency in Franklin County as well as proof of income will be required. Cruise-In
Everyone is invited to a cruise-in Saturday from 2-6 p.m. at the Franklin County Senior Citizens Center, 74 Clover Dr., Winchester, featuring the Pack the Park Car Club, live music by Three’s Company, Squidbilly Vittles BBQ and more. For information, call 931-967-9853.
Hot Shots competition
Everyone is invited to participate in the Tullahoma Sunrise Rotary’s annual Hot Shots competition Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Templar Shooting Range in Tullahoma. Tickets are $25. One Day of Hope
Manchester’s annual One Day of Hope will be held on Oct. 7 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Coffee County Fairgrounds, 99 Lakeview Dr., Manchester. The event is free for families in need. Services include free groceries, haircuts, clothing, prayer, job and career services, lunches, free family portraits, medical and dental screenings, community services and a kids zone.
Golf tournament

Jack and Back ride
The National Multiple Sclerosis Society will host its annual Bike MS: Jack and Back ride Oct. 7-8 beginning at Eagleville High School outside of Franklin on Oct. 7 and finishing at the Jack Daniel’s Distillery in Lynchburg where a dinner celebration will be held.
