Spangenberg to explain VA disability laws

A special seminar just before Veterans Day is scheduled to help veterans better understand the benefits they are entitled to, and one of the primary speakers will be Bethanie Spangenberg, founder of Valor 4 Vet, a team of medical experts trained in veteran-disability law.

Valor 4 Vet personnel serve as consultants to assist veterans in building evidence for their disability claims.

The seminar, sponsored by American Legion Post 44, will be held on Nov. 8 at First United Methodist Church, 100 S. Jefferson St., in Winchester from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. with discussion taking place over coffee and donuts.

In addition to Spangenberg, featured speakers will include:

— James Cripps, U.S. Veterans Alliance founder and president.

— John Stacy, a talk show host on Exposed Vet Radio with more than 20 years’ experience in helping veterans with their claims.

— Commissioner Gen. Tommy Baker of the Tennessee Veterans Affairs Office.

— Alex Graham, a Veterans Affairs attorney with more than 30 years of experience who has never lost a VA appeal.

Spangenberg is a physician assistant who previously worked as a compensation and pension examiner for Veterans Affairs and has personnel assisting in writing support letters for veterans.

She explained Valor 4 Vet’s focus.

“Our mission at Valor 4 Vet is to help disabled veterans claim the benefits they are so legally entitled to.” Spangenberg said.

Since 2015, Spangenberg and Valor 4 Vet have been writing letters and giving expert advice to veterans, attorneys and accredited VA agents.

Ray Cobb, Post 44 commander, explained the scope of Spangenberg’s work.

“Her experts are trained in VA law and know what the veteran needs in order to be awarded their claim,” he said. “She will have a wealth of good news for veterans in the Franklin County area.”

For reservations to hear Spangenberg’s presentation, contact Cobb at 931-308-8914. Space is limited.
