Veterans Seminar to be held Nov. 8

Open slots to attend a Nov. 8  Veterans Seminar in Winchester are filling up, and those planning to attend are encouraged to make reservations as early as possible.

The seminar will be held in the gym at the First United Methodist Church, 100 S. Jefferson St., in Winchester beginning at 8:30 a.m. with coffee and doughnuts being served, followed by the first speaker at 9 a.m.

Ray Cobb, who is sponsoring the event with wife Pam Cobb and Exposed Vet Radio, said the seminar will offer information that will benefit all veterans who attend.

“There will be something for all veterans and spouses of veterans presented at the seminar,” he said. “If you are filing your first claim or filing for a higher percentage or higher level, this seminar would be to your advantage.

“There will be information concerning higher levels of aid and attendance and information about benefits for your spouse after your death.”

The first speaker will be Michael Rinck, regional director of the Tennessee Department of Veterans Affairs.  He is responsible for county service offices in 27 counties in Eastern Middle Tennessee.

The next speaker, Alex Graham, is nationally known and specializes in high levels of aid and attendance for veterans.

Following him will be national radio host John Stacy, owner and host of the national radio show Exposed Vet.

Lunch will be provided.

The afternoon session will begin with Bethanie Spangenberg, founder and owner of the company Valor 4 Vet. She brings to the table the need for medical evidence to help veterans win their cases when appealing for a higher level of review or an appeal directly to the board.

Finishing out the afternoon will be James Cripps, president of the United States Veterans Alliance. Cripps was the first veteran to be exposed to Agent Orange while serving at Fort Gordon, Georgia, during the Vietnam War.

Cripps’ web page where he takes viewers step-by-step through the process to win their claims is VAtheredneckway.com.

This is the first seminar of this nature with highly qualified speakers assembled together. The seminar will benefit all veterans who may have a disability claim.

For reservations to hear the presentations, contact Cobb at 931-308-8914.  Space is limited.
