Motlow Theatre Department to perform ‘Aesop’s Fables’

The Motlow State Theatre Department will present “Aesop’s Fables” on Nov. 17 at Motlow’s Eoff Hall located inside Powers Auditorium on the Moore County campus.

Adapted by James Brock, the play is a modernized version of four of the timeless storyteller’s most popular fables, including “The Fox and the Crow,” “The Hare and the Tortoise,” “The Donkey in the Lion’s Skin” and “The Fox and the Sour Grapes.” It’s an exciting, fast-moving production with numerous scene changes and costume adaptations.

The production is appropriate for all ages. Elementary educators or high school drama clubs may contact Motlow State at 931-393-1700 or dmartinez@mscc.edu for special performance times for students.

Tickets are free, but attendees must reserve seats in advance.

A public performance will be held on Nov. 17 at 7 p.m. A reception will kick off the evening at 6 p.m.
