The Franklin County Rebelettes beat the Cannon County Lionettes 15-13 on the road Monday for their ninth win of the season.
The Rebelettes overcame an early six-run deficit to take the lead in the top of the sixth, and they pulled ahead for good in the seventh inning after the Lionettes briefly tied the score up late.
The Lionettes had nine runners reach base in the bottom of the first with six of them being brought around to score to make it a 6-0 game early.
The Rebelettes got on the board in the top of the second after Kaitlyn Montgomery drew a bases-loaded walk for an RBI, but the Lionettes scored another run in the bottom of the second to put the overall deficit at 7-1.
An RBI double from Addilyn Carter in the top of the third allowed the Rebelettes to get that run back, and Briley Apicella contributed an RBI single in the top of the fourth to cut the deficit down to 7-3.
The teams traded two-run frames in the fifth inning as Dalayna Marshall hit an RBI double and Kyleigh DeCamp scored off of a throwing error for Franklin County before the Lionettes recorded a two-run double in the bottom half of the inning to set the deficit at 9-5.

The Lionettes countered with a rally of their own in the bottom of the sixth as a two-out, two-run single tied the game at 11-11 going into the final inning.
However, the Rebelettes quickly regained the lead in the top of the seventh as RBI singles from Victoria Nelson and Marshall and a two-run home run from Montgomery gave them a 15-11 advantage.
The Lionettes scored two more runs in the bottom of the seventh to tighten the score, but the Rebelettes then recorded the last out they needed to clinch a two-run victory.
Leah Hardison recorded two outs in the pitching circle for the Rebelettes with five hits, two walks, five earned runs and one unearned run allowed for the day.
