Drug arrests stem from Lincoln death
Three suspects in connection with an April 14 suspected drugrelated death in Lincoln County have been arrested by Franklin County authorities on narcotics-delivery and illegal weaponpossession charges, according to Sheriff’s Office reports.

EMT recovering after ambulance collision
An advanced emergency medical technician who was injured in an April 14 wreck when the ambulance he was in collided with a pickup truck and overturned is recovering at home, according to a post on his Facebook page.

Fulmer: Support new coach
Franklin County High School is trying to resurrect the former glory it has had in its football program and gained strong encouragement at the April 13 School Board meeting from a native son who became a legendary college football coach — Phillip Fulmer.

St. Andrew’s student DJs claim national awards
Members of St. Andrew’s- Sewanee School’s radio-broadcasting program recently flew to New York City to take part in the annual Intercollegiate Broadcasting System conference and award ceremony with the goal of bringing home more trophies home than the one they did last year to display in the WMTN-LP studio.
