Penguins top Tullahoma in home opener

The Franklin County Penguins faced the Tullahoma Swim Club Monday at home as they opened their summer season with a team victory.

The Penguins beat Tullahoma by a combined score of 246-208 while their girls team picked up a 136-80 victory in their portion of the meet. Tullahoma narrowly won the boys portion of the meet by a 114-104 margin.

The Penguins recorded 55 total top-two finishes at the meet, including 38 first-place performances for the day.
