JESSE HARRELL
HARRELL, Jesse “Buddy“, age 89, of Manchester, TN, passed from this life Sunday, March 15, 2026, at his residence. Mr. Jesse Milton Harrell, fondly known as “Buddy” and “The Woodman” by family and friends, was born on June 1, 1936, to the late Elm Milton Harrell and Sarah Anna McCullough Harrell in Murfreesboro, TN. He retired from Rich’s in 1998 as a mixer for many years. After retiring, he went into logging, baling hay and had his own wood-cutting shop at his home for many years before he was unable to continue his work, which he loved doing. He loved watching WWE wrestling and spending time with family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Marie Gannon; brothers, Bobby Gene and Tommy Harrell; and his wife of 67 years, Jean Harrell. Mr. Harrell is survived by daughters, Rebecca Finney (Billy) and Anna Fulton; son, Milton Harrell; grandchildren, Jennifer Knight (Jason) and Jessica Wimley; great-grandchildren, Zachary Wimley, Amara Todd and Gracie Knight; brothers, Franklin Harrell and Jimmy Harrell; several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and a host of friends. Visitation was held Thursday, March 19, 2026, from 11 a.m. until funeral service time at 1 p.m. at Central Funeral Home in Manchester, TN. JOHN HOLLINGSWORTH
HOLLINGSWORTH, John M., age 73, of Winchester, Tennessee, passed away on March 18, 2026, at Vanderbilt-Harton Hospital, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on May 16, 1952, to the late Clyde Hollingsworth and Johnnie-Dell (Modena) Hollingsworth. John lived a life defined by dedication, discipline and an unwavering commitment to those he loved. Before his retirement, he served as the assistant director of Lucas County Child Services in Toledo, Ohio, where he devoted his career to protecting and advocating for children and families in need. His work was not just a profession, but a calling, one that reflected his strong sense of responsibility, structure, and compassion for others. A man of deep faith, John was a member of the Holy Covenant Original Church of God in Winchester. His faith guided his life and helped shape the values he instilled in his family: strength, accountability and love. John was known for his strong, steady presence. He was frugal, disciplined and, at times, stern, but those who knew him best understood that behind that firmness was a man who loved deeply and cared fiercely for his family. He found joy in the simple but meaningful moments of life. John loved cooking meals for his family, spending time fishing and enjoying a round of golf. He had a deep appreciation for travel, especially his trips to Sanibel Island, Florida, and Cabo San Lucas. He was captivated by nature and found great joy in watching wildlife, particularly whales, something that brought him a sense of peace and wonder. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Winfred Hollingsworth and Darrell Hughes; and brother, Clyde Hollingsworth Jr. He is survived by his devoted significant other of 40 years, Donna Hollingsworth Lewis; children, Monika Hollingsworth and John Hollingsworth; brothers, Michael Hollingsworth and Mario Hollingsworth; his sister, Antoinette Banks and her husband George; and his cherished grandchildren, Phyllis Gibson, John Hollingsworth, Jada Hollingsworth, Azaiah Johnson, Joseph Naimy and his wife Alexa, Joshua Naimy, Gabriel Naimy and Arlena Naimy. He also leaves behind extended family members and many who were impacted by his life and work. In accordance with his wishes, John will be cremated and returned to Toledo, Ohio, where his final place of rest will be. DIMPLE CLARK
CLARK, Dimple Burks, age 94 of Decherd, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Elk River Health and Rehabilitation Center. A native of Franklin County, she was born in Winchester on January 5, 1932, to the late Riley “Rabbit” Jackson and Fannie Zelma (Branch) Burks. Dimple was employed as a seamstress at Decherd-Franklin, Lanier and American Seating until her retirement. After retirement, she helped out at C&D Appliance when she was able. In her leisure time, she enjoyed gardening and sewing as well as traveling all over the United States. But most of all, she cherished the time spent with her beloved family. A devoted Christian, she was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Clark; son, Danny Clark; granddaughter, Regina Clark Peacock; and siblings, James Burks, Jack Burks, Annie Burks and Ida Hill. Dimple is survived by her loving children, Bobby (Jan) Clark, Eddie (Pat) Clark, Thomas (Deena) Clark, Kenneth Clark and Rebecca Clark Kirby; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; brother, David Burks; sister-in-law, Marion Burks; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation was held from 5-8 p.m. on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. MARGARET HALL
HALL, Margaret Ann Rutledge, age 81 of Winchester, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2026. She was born in Dunlap, Tennessee, on August 9, 1944, to the late Earl Howard Rutledge and Villa Hughes Rutledge. She was raised on a farm in the beautiful Sequatchie Valley. Margaret graduated with honors from Sequatchie County High School in 1962 where she was an All-Region basketball player. She received an associate business degree from Draughan’s Business College in Nashville. It was during that time that she met the love of her life, her husband, Howard. Margaret worked at an insurance agency in Knoxville to help put her new husband through engineering school at the University of Tennessee. That turned her blood “orange.” After graduation, she worked as a secretary at AEDC prior to having daughters. She later worked in the law offices of Swafford, Davis and Peters, then for Sheriff Bill Harris as well as County Judge Roy Tipps and later for dermatologist Dr. Jim Holiman. A member of Winchester Cumberland Presbyterian Church for more than 50 years, she served as office manager and church treasurer for 29 years, retiring at the age of 77. She also taught children in Sunday school and played on church softball and volleyball teams. Margaret loved sports, especially all University of Tennessee sports. She and Howard followed the Vols and Lady Vols across the USA to many football and basketball games. They loved to travel and were fortunate to get to travel abroad. She enjoyed playing bridge in the same Bridge Club for 50-plus years. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her many friends and family, especially her daughters and grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Earlene Rutledge Cyree; and brother, Carroll Gene Rutledge. Margaret is survived by her loving husband of more than 60 years, Howard Claxton Hall Jr.; daughters, Melissa Ann Fischer and Jennifer Leigh Hall; grandson, Ethan Hall Fischer; granddaughter, Anna Eden Fischer; brother, Luke Rutledge; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation was held from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at Winchester Cumberland Presbyterian Church. A Celebration of Life followed at 3 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Michael Clark officiating. FELIX MILLRANY
MILLRANY, Felix “Don” Donald, 90, of Estill Springs passed this life on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at his residence. Mr. Millrany was the son of the late Fred Lee and Georgia Mae Branch Millrany. He was a US Army veteran and was an avid Atlanta Braves baseball fan who loved to fish. He enjoyed going to the Blue Bird Market every morning for breakfast and feeding the ducks at the Pleasant Grove Boat Dock. He always mowed his lawn and enjoyed helping his neighbors. His pet cat was his pride and joy. He was a loving husband and caregiver to his late wife of 62 years, Nina Luttrell Millrany. He will be remembered as an honorable man that would do anything for his children, neighbors and friends. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Millraney; and sisters, Louise O. Biola, Frances Scheer, Betty Mines and Pat Bradford. Mr. Millrany is survived by his sons, Kenny (Kelly) Millrany of Tullahoma, Gary Millrany of Pensacola, FL, and Donny Millrany of Cookeville, TN; and grandsons, Kenneth Chance Millrany of Arab, AL, and Hayden Millrany of Cookeville, TN.
