The Franklin County High School and middle school swim teams competed in a home meet Tuesday against teams from Coffee County, Lincoln County, Warren County and Cannon County.

The Franklin County swimmers combined for 20 top-five finishes across the meet’s 20 events, including three first-place finishes and 15 placements inside of the top three.

Recording first-place finishes were:

— Damein Tucker, boys 50-yard freestyle, 26.42 seconds

— Damein Tucker, Joshua Clark, Scotland Stewart and Carson Huffhines, boys 200-yard freestyle relay, 1:59.1

— Carson Huffhines, boys 100-yard backstroke, 1:00

Recording second-place finishes were:

— Malloree Riddle, Mia Beckstead, Ella Wenger and Addison Hannaway, girls 200-yard medley relay, 2:24

— Joshua Clark, Damein Tucker, Carson Huffhines and Scotland Stewart, boys 200-yard medley relay, 2:16.53

— Ella Wenger, girls 200-yard freestyle, 2:25.64

— Carson Huffhines, boys 200-yard freestyle, 2:02.13

The Franklin County swim teams will next compete on Nov. 28 at Tullahoma High School. The meet is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m.
