Maundy Thursday

A community Maundy Thursday service will be held on April 6 at 5:30 p.m. at Cowan Fellowship Church with speaker Rev. Dr. Joe Butler, interim pastor of the Goshen Cumberland Presbyterian Church. 

April 7

Good Friday

Cowan First Baptist Church, located at 316 West Cumberland St. in Cowan, will host a Good Friday service featuring a live diorama, “Stations of the Cross,” on the front lawn of the church on April 7 at 5:30 p.m. In case of inclement weather, it will be held inside.

April 7-8

Easter egg hunt

Everyone is invited to a two-day, indoor Easter egg hunt featuring more than 10,000 eggs on April 7-8 at Vision Church, 112 First Ave. SE, Winchester. The hunt is free. Register by calling 813-390-4810.

Easter sunrise service

An Easter sunrise service will be held on April 9 at 6:30 p.m. at Cowan Montgomery Cemetery with speaker Rev. Bill Welch, pastor of First Church of the Nazarene.

Free Gospel singing school

The Winchester Civic Choir will host a free Gospel singing school April 17-21 from 6-8 p.m. at Winchester First United Methodist Church. All ages are welcome.
