Community art show Languages of Love opens in Cowan

Languages of Love, a community art show, is now open at the Artisan Depot Gallery in Cowan.

Artwork displayed is from local artists using a variety of interesting media.  The show is up now through April 2.

A reception for artists and community friends will be held on March 17 from 5-7 p.m. at the gallery. All members of the community are invited to attend the reception or drop by the gallery during business hours.

The Franklin County Arts Guild invites artists of all experience to participate in its public art community shows held throughout the year. Contributions from Franklin County artists of all ages in any media are accepted for inclusion in these shows. 

The show following Languages of Love is called Being a Flower is a Big Responsibility. Artwork for this show should be taken to the gallery between March 30 and April 2. 

The Artisan Depot Gallery is located at 204 Cumberland St in Cowan. Gallery hours are Thursday through Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.
