Feb. 22

Ash Wednesday

The various Cowan churches will join for a shared Ash Wednesday service on Feb. 22 at 6 p.m. at St. Agnes’ Church, 105 England St., Cowan. All are welcome.

Tullahoma Sangha

Tullahoma Sangha, a Zen Buddhist meditation and study group, meets each Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Unitarian Universalist Church of Tullahoma, 3536 New Manchester Hwy., Tullahoma.  The service will consist of zazen (meditation), a short lesson and discussion.   Newcomers are welcome to call ahead for a short orientation at 5:45 p.m.  For information, call 931-588-8935.

Black History Program

Mt. Sinai M.B. Church and the Townsend Cultural Center will hold their annual Black History Program on Feb. 25 from 5-7 p.m. at the Townsend Cultural Center, 910 S. Shepherd St., Winchester. The theme is “Legacy—What does it Mean to You?”  Everyone is welcome.

March 5

Singing

Everyone is invited to a singing on March 5 at 10:30 a.m. featuring The Modesitt Family at Huntland Missionary Baptist Church, 306 Alabama St., Huntland. Lunch will follow the singing. Pastor Bruce Shockley welcomes everyone.
